Walk the Golden Triangle, cross Beverly Gardens Park, visit Greystone Mansion’s public grounds, or drive north to Franklin Canyon. Museums along Wilshire make a separate half-day when you want more than shopping and gardens.

Rodeo Drive

Walk Rodeo Drive, Two Rodeo, and Dayton Way for storefront architecture, public art, and the district’s compact scale.

Beverly Gardens Park

The 1.9-mile park follows Santa Monica Boulevard past the sign and lily pond, cactus and rose gardens, fountains, arbors, and public sculpture.

Architecture and performance

City Hall and The Wallis extend the walk east of the boutiques, while the Beverly Wilshire and Beverly Hills Hotel mark two different hotel eras.

Franklin Canyon

The 605-acre park holds a three-acre lake, an accessible duck pond, oak woodland, chaparral, picnic grounds, and more than five miles of trails.

Look beyond the storefront displays

Rodeo Drive’s storefronts are only one part of the Golden Triangle. Two Rodeo adds a steep, pedestrian-scaled lane; Dayton Way carries cafe tables and public art; City Hall and The Wallis extend the architectural circuit east of the shopping blocks.

Use the Rodeo Drive directory for current shops and the city’s public-art map to identify installations along the walk.
The Academy Museum and LACMA sit east of Beverly Hills on Wilshire; give that museum corridor its own half-day.
Keep Franklin Canyon for a dry, clear morning and check current MRCA park notifications before driving up.

Franklin Canyon

A lake and chaparral above the city grid

Franklin Canyon sits between Beverly Hills and the San Fernando Valley. The easy Discovery Trail loops through black walnut woodland; the steeper Hastain Trail climbs a fire road through chaparral to lower-canyon and Westside views.

MRCA lists the Discovery Trail as a 0.3-mile easy loop and the Hastain Trail as a 2.3-mile moderate-to-strenuous route.
The park’s current page says road repairs are complete and both vehicle gates are open; check that page and emergency notifications again near the visit.
Save the canyon for its own morning rather than attaching it to a Rodeo Drive walk or Wilshire museum visit.
